New Business:

MQA National Teacher –BARBARA CLINE
Few seats remain in Starkville, Oxford, and Corinth classes.  You do not want to miss it!

2018 Pigeon Forge Guild Challenge
Judy S presented the invitation to participate in a guild challenge. From e-mail:
"My thought for this year...
since Barbara Cline is teaching the MQA Educational Classes on her Star Pattern, it would be awesome if we all used her pattern to come up with our own quilt to enter the challenge.  I'm sure we could get extra patterns for those who are not able to take the MQA classes.  There are several of us who are planning to take the class.  I also have her book on the same subject that we could get more ideas of layouts to use.

We had talked of doing something this next time to coordinate our entries.  When I saw the theme, it sounded like a good way to do this.  Just a thought.”

A flier with the rules for the challenge was attached to the email sent to you by Naomi on June 23.
Also discussed was using the same fabric for a portion of the quilt.
Give this challenge some attention and thought as a vote will be taken at August meeting.
