Judy opened the meeting.
Ebba, CC, Shannon, and Tonya are the slated nominations for officers for the next PTQ year. Everyone accepted these nominations.
CC motioned and Terry T. seconded moving the Christmas Party to the 13th of December at Julia's new house since our usual venue was booked and Julia graciously offered. We will have the left/right game again this year, but the gifts can be homemade/purchased quilt related gifts.
Be looking for an email from Judy regarding shirt color choice. At this time she only needs you to reply to the email when she sends it with your color vote for the shirt. We will take sizes and sleeve preference at a later date. She will also bring a mock up of the design to show everyone soon. PTQ will purchase one for each member and a few to have on hand for new members. If you would like extra ones, you are welcome to order additional ones in this order, but the extras will not be covered by PTQ.
Terry T. updated us on the fall MQA gathering that will be in Winona on the first Friday/Saturday of October. There will be bed turnings, Physical Therapist talk on how to stay healthy so we can quilt longer, memory quilts, Quilt of Valor presentation, and more. (Sorry I didn't catch all the things she rattled off.) Pulled Pork will be Friday's meal at $15 per person and Pizza will be Saturday's meal at $12 per person.
Keri and Shannon motioned and seconded that the minutes from last month be accepted as posted on the blog.
Judy gave the treasurer's report and Watana and Keri motioned and seconded that it be accepted as read.

Show and Tell:
We will have a sew day on September 20th (next weekend!) in honor of Jelly Roll Quilt Day we encourage you to bring your jelly roll to work with or whatever project you wish to work on. It will start at 9:30 and lunch will be provided.
CC and Terry motioned that we offer to buy the RAC some bulbs for the light fixtures.
