We started the meeting with a Demo from Marilyn Wilson on the Antelope Canyon Quilt that she will be giving a class on at the end of the month, May 31st. She recommends after we purchase the pattern, that we make a working copy of it, create labels for the strip cuts, and cut and label the strips before class. She also showed us several wonderful examples of these quilts.

Terry Turnage asked for help with MQA in Winona on October 3-4. They need fabric for centerpieces for 20 tables and teachers for demos that are about 10 mins in length. Contact her for more information.

Recap of Artisan Day quilting was discussed say it went well with several popping in and out throughout the day to quilt.
Maple Street quilters are still looking for home base to do their quilting if you hear of any place they can meet, let them know.
Next year the Library wants to do patriotic quilts for the March/April display, so if you have any quilts that are patriotic that you wouldn't mind sharing for them to display be sure to make notes to do so for next year. We are also still in need of someone willing to head up the QOV presentation at the library for next year, so if you want to volunteer please speak up.
May 31st we will have our Antelope Canyon quilt class- lunch will be provided.
June 6-7 MQA will be in Raymond MS - Wednesday, May 14th, is the deadline to register so make sure you get in there if you plan to go.
June meeting will be on 14th with a short meeting followed by a sew day from 9:30 - 2. Lunch will be provided.
Judy asked if the guild would be ok with PTQ purchasing a PTQ t-shirt for all in the guild and a few extras for any new members who would join in the future. Judy made the motion and Molly seconded it, all were in favor. Judy will suggest some colors and come up with design for the back. Anyone who wants to have multiple shirts can add to the order, but will need to pay for the extras.
