MQA Fall Gathering - PTQ will be hosting the MQA Fall Gathering on October 14-15, 2022. Pat H has donated a fall themed quilt for PTQ to raffle off at the Gathering. Tickets for the raffle will be sold 1 - $1 or 6 - $5. Tickets will be sold up to and throughout the Gathering and the winner will be drawn at the end of the Gathering. It's not too late to pick up a ticket packet if you have not gotten one yet. There are also more tickets available if you need extra.
Other updates for the Fall Gathering are: Hotel blocks have been reserved; Catering by Zackary's and Little Porky's; Vendors secured are Magnolia Heirlooms and Main Street Fabrics; Each guild will be providing a door prize; The theme for Friday night is "Fall Festival."
Desserts are needed for Friday night and we ask that all guild members provide a dessert that is easily portioned as they will be cut and wrapped into individual servings. Ruby J. volunteered to be the lead on the desserts and will reach out to members for help. Drop off time for the desserts will be determined by our next meeting.
Library Christmas Tree Ornaments - If you signed up for a Christmas ornament kit to make new ornaments for the annual Library Christmas Tree, please be completing those and return to Gwen S. by the November meeting.
Nominating Committee - Committee members (Ina J., Judy S. and Rita W.) presented nominations for officers for 2023. Proposed officers will be: President - Gwen S.; Vice-President - Brenda C.; Secretary - Rita W.; Treasurer - Karen C. Since there were only 8 members in attendance, the vote was tabled until the October meeting.
