Jacquie Gering will not be able to come Sept. 24 due to illness. We will reschedule her at a later date.Sept. 24 Sit and Sew time will be used for preparing for the Fall Gathering.
Monday, August 15, PTQ ladies in leadership for Fall Gathering will tour the Trotter in view of planning for Fall Gathering set up. Details and more concrete plans will be made after this tour.
Quilts will be hung during the Fall Gathering. Look through your quilts and select some for hanging. All kinds of quilts from traditional to art quilts will be needed.

New Business
Suggestion was made to ask PTQ members Julia and Karen to offer classes for the guild.Karen reported that Columbus Arts Council has a contest for the CAC 2017 calendar. Actual art work will be displayed in the small gallery during September. MUW professor will jury 11 pieces. One piece will be viewers choice. All winners will receive a free CAC calendar.
Guild Quilt for CAC donation--Brenda Cr. displayed red and white 6 inch block. All members are encouraged to PRE-WASH and bring any kind of red scraps to begin making these blocks. The Creamy color will be purchased for this quilt. Blocks will be made at the PTQ Sit and Sew meeting times.
The sweet 16 blocks are completed and a red fabric has been purchased for the sashing. This is ready for our next sit and sew.
