Rita W – gave brief outline of plans for decorating; Barb
D-gave brief outline of 3 soups-Chili, vegetable, potato, mixed green
salad, please bring your creamer pitchers to be filled with salad
dressing; volunteers will be needed to bring
desserts; CC collecting items to place in Silent Auction; Barb made
special announcement of Dave’s donation
Plans were made to visit the Trotter in August to discuss
tables and arrangements with the staff there.

Guild voted to change the Dirty Santa to Secret Santa. At the AUGUST MEETING those who wish to
participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange will need to have their “Wish
List” prepared to give to Lauren so she can pass the Wishes along to the Santa
who draws your name.
Hand Made Gift Game (right/left) will be played. Begin now creating your hand made gift if you
plan to participate in the game. Remember
you want to give away your best—is the gift I am giving something I would be
thrilled to receive?? You have just a
few days over 4 months to make something,

Challenge by Piecemakers of Sevier County
Black &
White and one other color
All guild
members invited; Guild must have a minimum of 5 entries to qualify for exhibit;
the black and white fabrics must be either (1) tone on tone (2) solids (3)
black & white prints
The one other
color fabric must be either (1) tone on tone (2) solid
The quilted
item cannot exceed a PERIMETER of 160 inches
The quilted
item must have a 4 inch sleeve and an identifying tag attached to the back
Please use
the quilt entry form provided on line for “A Mountain Quiltfest” 2017 and a
photo of the wall hanging
