Susan Cleveland Workshop

Recently our Possum Town Quilters had a workshop with Susan Cleveland. She shared her Bodacious Big Thread Applique & More class with us.

I really like her dresden fan quilt.

The variety in placement and color make this quilt appealing to me.

And then these small quilts are her samples that she brought for our class.

She showed us many other quilts and explained different techiniques with us.

Here are some of our Possum Town Quilter's getting started on their own projects.

And this is my version of her three daisies.

Seven of us completed our quilts in time for our Christmas party.

Possum Town Quilters Info

We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month except December. Our meeting begins at 9:30am and ends with a group lunch afterwards, usually around noon. On the 4th Saturday of each month, we have a Sit-n-Sew to work on various projects/charity quilts. We meet on the bottom level of the Rosenzweig Arts Center located at 501 Main Street, Columbus, MS 39701. Phone number there is 662-328-2787. Our PTQ dues are $15.00 per year, renewal in January. If you have any questions, please contact one of our officers listed. Visitors are welcome and may attend our meetings free for three times but may join at any time.
