PTQ Meeting at RAC
Meeting was called to order at 9:45 by acting chairman Barbara Walker with 18 present with 1 visitor Bobbie Hommel who very recently moved to Columbus from Nevada. She was a charter member of her guild there and we look forward to seeing some of the pretty things she has made.
We welcomed Coleen Eskridge, a member who has not been attending .
SHOW & TELL:
Carla...An old Grandmother's Flower Garden given to her. It had lots of hand quilting .

Coleen ...One she made & quilted with her long arm for her sister

Raffle Quilt.............It was suggested by Judy & JoAnne that this quilt needs to be machine quilted due to so many seams with small pieces. Colleen offered to quilt it without charge.
RAFFLE QUILT WORKSHOP.............JULY 5th thru 8th from 9:00 to 12:00

Next Meeting.............July 16th........Very important that your Challenge, Birds At Home be turned in no later than 12:00 Noon.Those received later will not have the opportunity to be judged. It is critical that these blocks be turned in as soon as possible so the committee can get on with their work .

Several members brought samples of small gifts for Starkville "goody bags". Most were coasters. It was decided each member will make 10 of your choice then we will see how many we need, maybe 150. Jo Anne has offered to make tags to attach to the gifts with PTQ on them
Old double knit quilt top was shown to see if anyone would like to finish it. No offers.
Mystery Quilt will have more clues. Judy had sample of one of her blocks..
We briefly talked about laws concerning what we are allowed to put on the web site such as the demo block each month.
Terry may be able to help us there.
The meeting was dismissed to enjoy a delicious lunch.
