April Meeting Minutes
We have 2 new members Victoria Meehan and Colleen Eskridge . Lawana’s daughter, who is passing through in the middle of a move, also visited with us.
Show and Tell
Julia’s student’s art class project.
Terry showed her twisted bargello and her shoefly quilt. She also showed her latest tube quilt.
Carla showed her stack and whack. We loved the khaki background.

Watana showed a scrap quit she made from garage sale fabrics. The pattern is called scrappy trails.
Victoria showed a table runner.
Jennifer showed a plaid project and her first finished top.
Congratulations. Loved her color choices.
Lori showed her first quilt. She is hand quilting it.
Linda Dawkins showed her soduku quilt.
Business
Minutes read and approved.
$4691.27 Balance $1980.00 in the educational fund.
Judy gave a wrap up on the pilgrimage. She said we started at White Arches and quilted at each of the other houses. They got about half the quilt quilted. The quilt got rave reviews.
Habitat house will be done in June.
Terry told about the guidelines for the Karen Combs workshop and lecture.
Julia passed out guidelines for our quilt show in August.
Hang quilts Tuesday, August 2 with reception August 4
Quilts must be in clean condition.
Labels need to be on all items.
No king size quilts will be hung.
In the event of excessive quilts we will limit the number per person.
Small items are welcome. Any needle arts.
All new items, no shown items from last year.
Plan to hang your own quilts or make arrangements for someone else to hang them.

She also showed a demo on how to make coiled bowls. Great job Annette!!
After the meeting some of the ladies that were not making rope bowls quilted on our habitat quilt.
