Join the festivities as we celebrate B.A.W.I. FEST featuring "Quilting on the Pearl" in downtown Columbia, MS, November 5-7. We will recognize Governor Hugh White's historic plan "Balancing Agriculture with Industry (B.A.W.I.) from the mid 20th century with events centered on quilting and outdoor sporting. The festival will kick off Friday night with an evening gala and will conclude on Sunday afternoon with a production of "The Nutcracker."
The festivities on Saturday will include art and sporting booths and children's activities; The Quilt Korner will offer demonstrations, exhibits including antique quilts, Merchant's Mall, quilt raffle, door prizes, and much more. The heart of the event will be the display of beautiful quilts from across the region as they line our Main Street storefronts.
