Minutes were accepted as posted on the blog with a motion and second from Watana and Karen.
Treasurers report was presented by Shannon.
October 10th meeting will have a change of location - possibly at First Christian Church - awaiting confirmation from Ina.
Jelly Roll race on the 26th was canceled.
Regular meeting day in November will be moved to the 21st, Ebba will confirm, due to the RAC being closed on our normal meeting day.
Discussion of QOV presentation - 3 quilts ready, deciding on recipients.
MQA Fall Gathering is the 1st weekend in November. MQA is also offering a beginner quilt class in Jackson on the 19th.
Ebba mentioned a friend wanting a t-shirt quilt made -- she was given some names of possible contacts to make it.
Slate of Officers was presented for next year: Carolyn E. - President, Watana - Vice President, Tonya - Secretary, and Shannon - Treasurer. Motion and second to accept these was made by Patti M. and Judy S.
Patti M. challenged the PTQ guild members to invite non-PTQ friends to visit us in the upcoming year, possibly the January meeting to encourage more to join.
CC demoed the Chandelier Quilt blocks and showed two tops made in this style. The blocks are set on point to sew the rows together and then turned up right. She passed out handouts and strips of fabric so our members can make some blocks to contribute to the Maple Street Quilters scrappy version. These blocks will be due at the Christmas party and can be handed off to CC.
