Keri made a motion and Shannon seconded to accept the minutes from the last meeting as posted on Blog.
Judy gave the treasurers report. Ina motioned and Keri seconded it as read.
Joncie is in the work's for a national teacher for us next year.
Maple Street at the RAC meets 10-12 am on Wednesday mornings for hand-quilting if any want to join in or know of anyone who would like to learn more.
We are selling tickets to raffle off the Southern Sayings quilt for the RAC. The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. There is a sign-up for selling the tickets on December 5th and 6th at Wassail Fest in Columbus. Contact Judy if you need more information. We will also be selling tickets at MQA in the spring.
T-shirt update: If you want extra shirt, at your expense, tell Judy what color, size, and whether short or long sleeve. She also showed us the new design option.
Christmas Party Information:
-Bring a quilt related gift for left/right game if you want to participate. Can be anything handmade/purchased ($20 limit if purchased).
-Bring a dish to share.
-We will set up a carpool/convoy meeting at Lowes -- details will be coming later via email.
-It will be on December 13th at 10 am at Julia's new house -- details will be coming later via email.
Rita made a motion for the guild to give a one time donation to help MQA for whatever PTQ agrees upon and Brenda E. seconded it. This was followed by discussion and was tabled for now.
Precuts: Brenda C. gave out some patterns for a design using charm squares. Others showed their makes from precut jelly rolls and charm packs.
Everyone in attendance won a door prize today. Now for the upcoming year we would love to start fresh with some new door prizes. If you have any that you would like to donate please let us know.
